Wayne State University is Michigan's

U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks the WSU College of Nursing in the
top 10 percent of all nursing programs in the nation. With more than 1,000
students, Wayne State's School of Medicine is the third-largest medical school
in nation. Wayne State is the home of the National Institutes of Health Perinatology
Research Branch. The branch will generate more than $100 million in federal research
funding over the next decade. The Gourman Report ranks the School of Social
Work's undergraduate program as the top such program in the nation.
